about

"The coastal ruins, the stargazers had read, was abandoned since the days of the old-kingdom. Fierce and unpredictable storms threatened the location, along with dangerous cliffs, that made reconstruction a gamble for any who would undertake it. Yet the legends say that the old coastal fortress was built for a particular purpose...

"The hero leads them through part of the ruins to a small, stony structure that sits atop a platform facing the sea. Using his own beams of light as if they were ink, he draws a series of symbols on the structure's surface.

"The sea erupts with activity and something like a mountain rises from beneath the waves, sending a group of gulls off in terrified flight.

"The Ocean King has appeared! With legs like towers of earth that stretch through the clouds, this creature once served as transportation for the ruler of an ancient empire.

"The Ocean King presents its tail, and the stargazers and the hero are moved into position from their platform. They dock with the Ocean King's tail, which then lifts them high onto its shell and the group is on their way, across valleys and mountains, and to the capital of The Great Western Kingdom."
