"Severely injured, the dark force makes his escape through the caverns. His life force is fading and he can no longer maintain his legion of creatures. One by one, the dark armies fade out of existence all across the kingdom. The king of the Great Western Kingdom and other citizens are freed from the limbo to which they had been banished, and the shadow of evil lifts while the sun sets on the kingdom.

"If only the dark force could find a place, deep below the earth, where he can recover from his injuries, however long it would take. But the hero and the star-gazers are not eluded. They corner the dark force and, with the power of the amplification crystals, put an end to him once and for all.

"The cavern opens up to a mountain-side and the heroic travelers signal for The Ocean King. They ride through the grasslands and across to the coast. They leave the amplification crystals in the Ocean King's care and bid him farewell as he returns to his slumber beneath the waves."
